I am ROBIN, the UR-SENIOR. My B.S Biochemistry binds me like a modern Gleipnir, and on the eve of Ragnarok I shall break my fetters; from my cocoon comes forth a true geneticist...

...but until then, I'm really just your average college student. I spend most of my time studying, reading, or playing tabletop games, and can't be prevailed upon to do things that aren't those things. Attempts to tear me from my desk make me hiss.

My professional interests span synthetic genomics, speleomicrobiology, and crustacean genetics (particularly Oniscidea). I'll probably put up a good half-decade fight to do strange research of no utility, before my wallet demands that I join my brethren in the wildflower meadows of our field—then I, too, will lie in the news about CRISPR.

I like semiotics, alchemy/chymistry, and basic mathematics (do not show me a group or a category!!!). I have some sort of draw to emergentism, but I couldn't say what. Coding is strictly a summer hobby because it makes me enter a sort of immovable dwarven focus state.
